Many of those who see me for a reading know I’m likely to talk about Angels and the power of Angel Prayers.
Why is this so important?
It’s because if we are ignoring the influence of Angels in our lives then we are missing vital information and support. It’s kind of like going through our lives without ever opening a dictionary or appreciating flowers.
Can you imagine?
When we are born, in fact prior to our birth, our Souls are assigned an Angel/s for the duration of our lifetime. Some are with us to help us for a certain period of our life, and some are with us for our entire lifetime. Those who are assigned to guide and protect us for our lifetime may even be with us several lifetimes, who knows? That’s simply one of those mysteries we find out after our physical lifetime has completed.
How do you know you have an Angel/s assigned to look after you?
I believe we all experience ‘that moment’ in our lifetime when we were in a position of very real danger, perhaps an accident which could have taken our lives or permanently or injured us, yet somehow, we survived and came out okay.
When we reflect on some of those situations, there’s a knowing something bigger was at play that felt like Divine intervention.
For me it was years ago in my twenties when I was visiting Sydney and waiting for a ferry alone on a dock one morning. I was approached by a man with a mental health condition that left me feeling very vulnerable, he was erratic, talked a lot and often stood between me and the only ramp to leave.
I was so busy doing my best to avoid any confrontation with him that I hardly notice a very large public ferry come across to the dock. They weren’t supposed to stop at this dock, but someone had noticed my situation and fortunately I was offered a ride for my safety. Keep in mind, this wasn’t a small ferry, so they very well could have put me in the ’too hard’ basket however they didn’t.
The crew member kindly sat me down and gave me a good Aussie ‘cup of tea’, a cuppa always helps, doesn’t it? As I sat there sipping on my tea in a place I wasn’t familiar with, I came to the realisation that I was ‘looked after’. Not only by the kindness of the crew member who noticed me and cared, but he had to spot me in the first place right? Wow, was I grateful.
This is how Angels work. They can create attention for others to see you in your time of need. They can physically alter things if necessary. Perhaps your head may have missed hitting a hard object but missed by centimetres for example, or you may have been close to drowning, yet you felt a ‘pull’.
Some of these things are just enough to place you in the difference between life, death or major injury.
So how do we work with Angels?
One of my favourite authors on this subject is Kyle Gray, I call him Kyle Gray from the UK! He was blessed to understand Angels from a young age. Funnily enough he grew up to become a DJ however he ended up following his Soul calling and working with Angels again. He has social pages so it’s easy to check him out.
Kyle wrote a wonderful book called ‘Angel Prayers’ and in this book he often refers to praying to certain Archangels for specific reasons. Don’t get me wrong, I love and appreciate this style however I don’t find it an easy-to-use method in a crisis or urgency situation to recall just which Archangel I’m supposed to tap into in that dire moment.
So, I devised my own system that I will share with you.
Hopefully it will inspire you or help you think of a method of your own. Whatever resonates with you is the right way.
So rather than calling on Archangel so-and-so for this or that, I have chosen to create what I call ‘departments’ or ‘groups’ of Angels, it’s a much easier system, particularly when you’re in a bind. I call up ‘Angels of Healing’ to send healing to myself or someone else, ‘Angels of Guidance’ when looking for advice or clarity and other ‘departments’ with other requests. Another reason I do it this way is I believe Divine knows which Angels are most suited for the job and I’m confident they are much more qualified to choose than me.
Also, what if you only call for one without realising the Angels may prefer to choose more than one?
Get specific in your prayer with time frames and details on what it is you’re requesting / manifesting.
It’s appropriate to request a reasonable timeframe for your prayer to be answered because asking regularly for ‘instant miracles’ might lead to disappointment. If it’s a small request, perhaps a few days could be feasible and if it’s a big request, perhaps a few months or more, whichever seems an appropriate amount of time for them to step in and help. The more specific you get, the more you are attracting what it is you are truly after.
Following your prayer / request, look for the signs. Sometimes it will be obvious like if someone feels better soon after a healing prayer. When it comes to guidance however, you will need to pay attention. Answers can come from obscure observations like numbers, a random Facebook post, a bird which acts in an odd way to get your attention, a bus with a significant sign down the side or maybe even a song on the radio, sparks of light or a perhaps combination of things until you notice the synchronicities. Whatever it is that really stands out and makes sense in your situation is what needs your attention.
All I can say is don’t underestimate the power of prayer. I’ve seen some amazing things happen in my life including an influx of money to help with a project. Keep in mind that awesome and sometimes unbelievable things are possible with prayer and – best of all it’s free! You don’t have to belong to a specific faith for it to work, so there’s nothing to lose by tyring it out for yourself.
